Why NOKIA and MOTOROLA disappeared?
In early 70’s NOKIA and MOTOROLA
were two companies that introduced those heavy brick phones. That was the
biggest reason of the importance of these companies in the developing tech
world. It made long distances short and because of that they” burned the candle
from both ends”.
(What
happened to both?)
Sadly they have the same conflicts in
past.NOKIA started making lumia series after successful
asha series (it was not that successful) that was powered by Microsoft Windows.
After a long time when the windows 10 came out, NOKIA was only left with its
lumia series as light of hope.
Microsoft bought the lumia series of NOKIA and almost destroyed it.
MOTOROLA was a very successful company but
after its droid series, they ran out of ideas. So they have no choice to sale
the company because it was the only way to get rid of it and all the conflicts
with it. So they sold their whole name to GOOGLE. For about 12.46 billion dollars in 2013. Unlike
to NOKIA MOTOROLA sold the whole company instead of one series.
(Where are they now?)
NOKIA:
After
selling their series their CEO announced the
release of Nokia’s new android
series of tablets and Smartphone and their new devices are known as N1(Tablet) C1(Smartphone).
MOTOROLA:
After GOOGLE bought it they released a
few devices and specially MOTOROLA Z play that is the slimmest Smartphone with
one of the biggest camera humps on back. But they could not happened to handle
it either. So they sold it to another famous Chinese company for about 2.86
billion dollars.
We all know that Chinese company LENOVO. We
will see that for how much long Lenovo can handle Motorola.
It would be better for them
to manufacture half of their new devices at the name.
